Who Funds Us
Our individual donor program, launched in November 2001, has now become a significant source of revenue. In addition, in 2003, for the first time, we asked our partners to pay annual dues to the National Campaign, and they responded. to: In 2007, 12% of our revenue came from our partners, 11% from individuals (contributing partners), and 77% from foundations.
While foundation support is absolutely essential, the National Campaign's work is about people. It is important both to the vitality of our programs, as well as to our continued financial strength, that we reach out for contributions from the many people now involved in our work and our issues. Financial contributions of any amount will not only broaden our base of support, but will help to sustain our work into the future.
Please join us in the effort to create a more just and sustainable food system, and more accountable government.
